DESTINY

Passionate storyteller with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Film and Media from the University of South Carolina. My love for storytelling began during my acting career, where I portrayed a victim on In Ice Cold Blood on Oxygen. This experience ignited a deep appreciation for the power of narratives, whether they are conveyed through news reporting or film. I firmly believe that storytelling serves as a reminder that we are not alone, connecting individuals and communities on a profound level.

As an African American and Latina woman in journalism, my mission is to amplify the voices of the underrepresented and misrepresented. I have gained valuable experience interning under exceptional journalists who have guided my career path. I was honored with a Southeast Emmy nomination for Breaking News and received a scholarship to attend IRE24. Prior to USC, I earned an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies at Midlands Technical College. 

My motto in life is that the limit does not exist, and I strive to make a meaningful impact through my storytelling.
